The spookiest day of the year is fast creeping up on us, and perhaps the scariest question of all is: just what on earth do you do with a pumpkin?
From their beginnings as a very American decoration, over the last few years pumpkins have steadily become more and more of a feature of Halloween in the UK, too.
We think the most likely explanation for this orange invasion is that witches have been flying them over on their broomsticks.
Ahem…
So once you’ve carved your scary pumpkin lantern, just what can you make with all the leftover pumpkin flesh? Why, a cauldron full of our delicious pumpkin soup! You can download recipe details here, and we also have lots of other pumpkin-y videos and downloads to help make this your most spooktacular Halloween yet.
Once you’ve cooked your cauldron of pumpkin soup or our awesome autumn muffins – take a photo and share with us on Twitter @EatHappyProject using #halftermharvest for the chance to win a £100 Tesco gift card. T&C’s apply: tes.co/4ISxAZ. Good luck!
Happy Halloween!
