Tesco Play Pennies Terms & Conditions

  1. This prize promotion is open to all UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18, except for anyone directly connected with the planning or administration of the prize promotion (including Tesco  and Play Pennies’ employees and their immediate families).
  2. The prize draw opens at 8pm on Friday 17 July 2015 and closes at 11:59pm on Thursday 23 July 2015.
  3. To enter answer ‘What’s your favourite dish to cook with your child and why?’ and email it to eathappyprojectprizedraw@thisiszone.com. Write ‘Play Pennies Prize Draw’ in the subject line. Please include your full name, address and contact phone number in the email.
  4. Entry will not be received via any other platform.
  5. Entries that are incomplete, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatever reason will not be accepted.
  6.  Any entries that we consider (in our absolute discretion) to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, plagiarised, racist, copied, offensive, cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights of others will be immediately removed. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
  7. The entry instructions form part of the rules. By entering, you agree to accept and be bound by the rules.
  8. No third party or bulk entries. If it becomes apparent that either a participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, multiple email accounts, multiple reproduced or computer generated entries, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these participants will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void.
  9. There are five prize winners who will be the first five entries randomly selected from all qualifying entries received by an independently verified computer generated system.
  10. Each winner will receive a Hudl2 tablet, a child’s yellow Eat Happy Project apron and an adult's yellow Eat Happy Project apron.
  11. There is no cash alternative to the prizes stated and the prizes are not transferable.
  12. The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its control make this necessary.
  13. The winners will be notified via email within 14 days of the closing date and will have 28 days to accept their prize.  If we do not hear from a winner within this timeframe, we will contact them again. If they do not respond within  a further 14 days the prize will be redrawn and awarded to a new winner, again determined using the independently verified computer system.
  14. The winners agree to their name, photograph and entry being used for promotional purposes by Tesco and Play Pennies. Details of the winner’s name and county may be shared with anyone who requests their details. If you are a winner, you may be required to take part in publicity relating to this prize draw with no further recompense. Your full details will be passed onto a third party for the dispatch of your prize only.
  15. In entering this prize draw, you grant us a licence to use your entry for any purpose in connection with this prize promotion.
  16. If you would like to know the name and county of the winner please send an email titled’ Play Pennies’ to Customer.service@tesco.co.uk.
  17. We reserve the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion for whatever reason, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment.
  18. The promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
  19. The application and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them.
